Spend a few moments in silent reflection:
- Do I take responsibity for what I do and say, or do I blame others?
- Do I ever give way to others and do what I know is wrong?
Amo te, o Jesu, mi Amor, magis quam meípsum,
et ex íntimo corde pænitet me quod tibi displícui.
Ne sinas me íterum a te separári.
Da mihi perpétuum amórem tui,
et dein fac de me quidquid tibi placúerit.
I love you Jesus, my Love, above all things;
I repent with my whole heart for having offended you.
Never permit me to separate myself from you again.
Grant that I may love you always,
then do with me what you will.
Stabat Mater dolorósa
juxta crucem lacrimósa
dum pendébat Fílius
At the cross her station keeping,
stood the mournful mother weeping,
close to Jesus to the last
