PRAYERS OF OUR PARISH | |
Our Parish Prayer Father, Creator of all things, send the gifts of your Spirit upon us. Inspire us to live the Gospel so that we may be signs of Christ in the world. Rejoicing in heart and mind with Francis, our Pope, Servant of the Servants of God, and successor of St Peter, we offer ourselves to do your will in your Holy Catholic Church, whose brethren, both living and dead, we commend to your loving kindness. Renewed by the Divine Life, in the Holy Eucharist, may we live a life of compassion and enlightenment to bring Christ into the world. May we be a source of joy and encouragement to those whose lives we touch. Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen. Our Lady : Pray for us. St Peter : Pray for us. (Saint of the day: Pray for us.) |

Hail Holy Queen, Mother of mercy; hail our life, our sweetness and our hope! To thee do we cry, poor banished children of Eve. To thee do we send up our sighs mourning and weeping in this vale of tears. Turn then, most gracious Advocate, thine eyes of mercy towards us. And after this our exile show unto us the blessed fruit of thy womb, Jesus. O clement, O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary! V. Pray for us, O holy Mother of God. R. That we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ. |

Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to your protection, implored your help or sought your intercession, was left unaided. Inspired by this confidence, we fly unto you, O Virgin of Virgins, our mother. To you we come, before you we stand sinful and sorrowful. O mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not our prayers and our petitions, but in your mercy hear and answer them. Amen. |
Amen. |
